James Peck has become chairman of a CLA county branch at the age of 34, and is believed to be the youngest ever. He has been elected to chair the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Committee for the next two years. He joined the association in 2007 and was elected vice-chairman in 2009.

James said, “The CLA is a prestigious organisation which, especially in the Cambridgeshire area, has embraced young people. The industry has transformed over the past decade and recognises young people and encourages them.”

“Being a member of the CLA has allowed me to meet other like-minded young people and we help drive each other, while older members have offered valuable support and advice when I’ve needed it.”
