Norfolk farming conference

Monday Fiona and I went for the first scan. The baby will be due on the 27th August. I’m hoping It will be an early harvest this year ready for the new arrival.
Norfolk farming conference on Thursday where they played a video of me at harvest and the team. Guy Smith as chairman asked us questions afterwards and then opened up to the floor. I’ll put the video on pxfarms1 on YouTube if you’d like to view.
We have managed this week to start fertilising. The oilseed rape and second wheats have been completed and We aim to start the first wheats next week.
The second bay of the new building has been erected. I hope to see the third completed by the second week in March.

James Peck at FarmTech 2012

In January James Peck from PX Farms attended the FarmTech Conference at Edmonton in Canada as one of the Keynote Speakers. James gave two sold out speeches while there, the first entitled “Running an Agribusiness in the UK” and the second “Arable Farming – Where Next?” The latter speech was of course directly related to his Nuffield Scholarship and report, a copy of which is on this site.
