We’re looking for a self-motivated, driven and passionate individual to join our fab team here at P.X. Farms as a Farm Operator. You’ll be working on scale with precision and high tech machinery across three main units operating in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Lincolnshire. You’ll be specialising in innovative farming techniques like controlled traffic farming (CTF) and using our high tech kit like:
- potato harvesting with a Grimme 4 Row Tectron
- combining with a CLAAS 12 metre Combine
- and spraying with a Horsch Leeb 8,000 litre 36 metre

We hope everyone is having a great bank holiday weekend and you're all ready for the premiere of our latest video. This is the first ever GRIMME GL 860 Compacta in the United Kingdom and what machine it is. This 8-row beast was planting up to 40 hectares a day with plating speeds of around 8-9kmph this spring. It's also surprisingly compact on the road and folds up to a transport width of just 3.35m. We just want say a big thank you to P.X. Farms and Farming Photography for making this video possible, we hope you all enjoy it.

The farm is situated within easy reach of Cambridge by car or there is a local bus stop within walking distance. Cambridge is a fabulous city, whether you want to go shopping in the Grand Arcade, punting on the river or check out the selection of pubs and restaurants on offer. There are also several villages and towns locally with lovely family pubs, and a number of schools available, as well as a garage and shop, and two major supermarkets a short drive away.
