Roguing blackgrass and rye grass to keep the wheats and barley clean.

We have a team in annually to come and rogue the combinable crops and the sugar beet. It’s part of our fight against the spread of weeds. This is commonly done in seed crops but we are having it done across all the fields in the fens to prevent infestation. This is a costly job but hoping to be a long term solution.

Headland management is an area of concern.
